Through our STEHP Eviction Prevention Program, we provide critical services to households at imminent risk of homelessness. Our Housing Retention & Stabilization program ensures participants maintain stable housing while building capacity for long-term self-sufficiency.

The Role

Anthos|Home is seeking an experienced and compassionate leader to serve as Housing Retention Supervisor. This role will oversee the Housing Retention Associate and Housing Retention Specialist, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with STEHP and the Housing Retention & Stabilization program requirements. Reporting to the Director of Special Programs, the Housing Retention Supervisor will play a pivotal role in driving housing stability outcomes, coordinating resources, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise the Housing Retention Associate and Housing Retention Specialist.
  • Lead regular team meetings and case conferencing sessions to coordinate service delivery and share best practices.
  • Ensure participants are assessed thoroughly and receive individualized service plans addressing housing stabilization, employment, education, and financial management.
  • Oversee compliance with STEHP and Housing Retention & Stabilization guidelines, including accurate documentation, participant eligibility certification, and timely reporting.
  • Monitor team caseloads to ensure effective management of participant needs and program resources.
  • Assist team members with escalated cases involving landlord-tenant mediation or significant participant challenges.
  • Provide crisis intervention and supportive counseling as needed.
  • Ensure proactive follow-up with housed participants through regular check-ins, home visits, and aftercare services.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with local landlords, service providers, and community organizations to enhance program resources.
  • Represent Anthos|Home in external meetings, forums, and advocacy efforts to promote housing stability and eviction prevention.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation to address after-hours participant emergencies.
  • Ensure team members maintain accurate, confidential case notes and documentation in compliance with HMIS and Anthos|Home standards.
  • Assist with program audits and funding compliance reviews as required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of five years of experience in the social services field, housing specific is a plus
  • Prior supervisory experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge of the NYC housing market and voucher system
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Passion for Anthos|Home’s mission and the ability to work in a diverse environment.
  • Ability to use public transportation or meet travel requirements with reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to ascend/descend stairs as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary: $80,000-$85,000 annually (dependent on experience).
